Matthew Nutter is a really exciting new talent on the British food scene.

After a series of pop ups, his first restaurant The Allotment opened in Stockport in 2016.

AKA The Plant Food Power Chef, Matt's philosophy in his own words is:

"We don’t do boring at Plant Food Power Chef, so we’re here to show you just how easy it is for you to bring veganism into your life, without sacrificing your taste buds. We’re not here to convert you or change your views. This isn’t a cult. But we see nothing wrong with wanting people to try out a healthier way of living."

He opened his first restaurant just days after his son was born, is an ultra-marathon runner and dead-lifter and takes regular cold showers to focus his mind.

Matt recently cooked the keynote banquet for the BBC's Sustainability Season.

He has new food destinations opening in 2018 and is set to launch a podcast and video series too.

He's also a consultant for The Authentic Food Co.

Matt doesn't do things by halves.
