Sam Walker

 

Sam is a multi-award winning broadcaster with more than 15 years' experience in both speech and music radio.  She is also a highly skilled podcast consultant, producer and host and presenting coach.  She is the creator and host of the Award-winning podcast What Goes On Here.

Radio

Sam has presented across a number of BBC and commercial platforms, most recently for eight years on BBC Radio 5 Live.

She previously presented both Drive and Mid mornings on BBC Radio Manchester and across daytimes on Key 103, Real Radio, Xfm and Juice 107.2.

Podcasts

Sam is the creator and host of the Award-winning interview podcast What Goes On Here.  She aso hosts and produces the Northern Power Women Podcast. Sam also consults on a number of other podcasts on a wide range of subjects.

Writing

Sam has written for a number of online and print publications and is currently writing her first screenplay 41 Friday Nights.

Television

Sam has presented for BBC Inside Out North West and BBC Online.

 

Hosting

Sam is an experienced awards host and speaker. 

She has also hosted the Tpas Housing Awards, Girls Out Loud Ball, In:Communities Housing Conference, The Manchester MPA Awards, The Northern Power Women Awards and so many more.

 

Sam is also available to speak at conferences and conventions on all manner of radio and corporate presenting.
